    I am also a newbee...having surgery on 08-01-11 good luck to you!! One hint be careful how, and where you post on these boards while most people are nice there are some who are not.....just experienced one first hand lol

    Hi I am scheduled for RNY on 9/12...I am excited as well....nerves haven't hit me yet but probably will closer to my surgery date.  Can't wait to get an update after your surgery!

    Welcome!    That's exactly how I felt this time two years ago.  The anticipation is maddening and the reality is tough but it is so worth while. 

    Congratulations.  Hopefully you can help breath some life into this forum.
