Need Potassium/Magnesium advice...
Gina, and whoever else may know
Ok - I've decided to add some magnesium and Potassium to my diet regime. I went to GNC today and I picked up a bottle of "Potassium & Magnesium Aspartate 250". The ingredients are: Monomagnesium Di-L-Aspartate 250mg and Monopotassium Aspartate 250mg.
Is this the right kind of Potassium and Magnesium? I saw there were different kinds.
Thanks
Jody

I believe what you want is Chelated Potassium 99mg (as Potassium Glucononate). Puritan's Pride is VitaLady's vendor and I think you can get it at GNC or VitaminShoppe too. I take 4 a day which is the equivalent of a large orange juice or banana. The Magnesium you want is Magnesium (Citrate) tablets or capsule (not the liquid in the little green bottle). I take 2 capsules a day, 1 in the morning and 1 at night. Magnesium oxide is the one that helps keep things moving in your system, but the magnesium citrate is good for leg cramps.
