Hi all!

Had my RNY surgery at Toronto Western on Monday, out of hospital Wednesday and home from Toronto on Friday.  Things are going OK.  Had some pain issues and some issues about taking ground up meds, but it is coming!  Just thought I would let you know.  Thanks for your support before surgery!

Welcome home!  Cut those pills in half if you can't stand the taste. I couldn't do crushed pills either.

Welcome home! There's plenty of room on the losers bench! I had to have liquid meds. Ground up meds made me nausiated. I hope you continue to do well. We are all here if you need us. :0)

Glad to hear that you are at home.  Just nothing like being able to relax in your own bed/chair/couch when you feel crummy.  Seems like each day is getting a little easier. Can't wait to not have to hold my stomach when I sneeze. It is the pits!! Keep drinking. and keep in touch.  Every time I log on I learn something new!!

Hey there Lori... even though it isn't nice that you have to hold your stomach to sneeze, I am happy to hear I am not the only one!  On the Ontario board so many people didn't have any pain and didn't have to take anything for pain... thought I was just a whoosy.  I would just like to be able to get up out of my chair without difficulty!!  Oh well, tomorrow is another day and it should be just that much easier!  Take care.
