Lower BMI *you knew that*--- I'm new to this board too so I don't know the exact #.  Everyone is so nice on this board and they offer tons of info!

Good luck!

There's not really an exact number. But generally we start in the lower 40s or less on BMI. Mainly it's where you feel comfortable.

I was told anyone with less than 150ish lbs to lose, but I don't know if there's an official number.  Honestly, anyone who wants to be part of the nicest, most supportive forum on OH is welcome here!

Welcome aboard, and yeah, I didn't know exactly what a lightweight was until I read some signature lines.

I think you are a "lightweight". It doesn't really matter what the number is, this message board is the most supportive and has the least (like none) drama on OH. It's my "home" for sure!

Welcome to the LW Boards!  If you are looking for support, this is the place to be.

What type of surgery are you having?  We have all types on this board and don't have any surgery wars.

Do you have a date or are you just starting out?

Good luck.
