Tired.....

The past few weeks I've been tired.  I go to bed at 9 get up at 6:30-7am.  During the day I'm usually ok, but find myself yawning quite a bit...  I sleep well through the night.  May be woke up by the sprinklers going off at 2:30am but go right back to sleep.

Now - it IS probably time to get my labs done again.  I'm confident my B12 is good - always has been and runs high and I'm very good with my sublingual.  Iron is another thing... I've got the Proefferin.  I cut the pills in half - but, if I take them 2-3x a week I'm doing good.  When i DO take them its typically 2 pills at a time.

Do you think low iron could be causing this?  I KNOW I'm getting enough to eat - that's never been a problem....  Weight is pretty stable...

Any ideas other than iron that could be causing this?

Thanks Toni!

Gina has a list of recommended labs to be drawn.  She posted a link awhile ago to Vitalady's recommended vitamins and labs....   Hey wait a minute - I bookmarked it...

I'll have to look in the mirror and see if they're whitish.  I've always had pale lips and lipstick just doesn't seem to stick!

I think a nap is in order for today - running on less than 4 hours of sleep.... (that's not normal)

Hi Jody,
They always had me check my eyelids.  Pull the bottom down some and if it is real white you may have low blood.  This was years ago so may not be true anymore - you know how things change!

Hope you feel better soon.  You have been pulling some crazy work hours.  Changing my schedule would really mess me up.

You MAY be right!  I was planning on treating myself to a mocha latte today - I'll have them add an extra shot of espresso to it - makes it even better!

Thanks sweetie - love ya too and miss you around here!

Sorry, you are so tired.  Just recently you were keeping crazy hours at work, so maybe your system just needs to adjust again.

I also noticed that you aren't listing as much on your menus as you used to.  Are you sure you haven't cut back on your calories?

(((HUGS)))

Oh - you caught me!  I haven't been logging on at night and finalizing my posts.  I still think I'm getting TOO many calories because some of my choices haven't been the best... I need to work on that....

I think  labs would be a great idea, so you are not guessing.
Have you changed the amount of caffiene you are drinking?
That's my only thought.
Hope you feel more energetic soon!
