Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!

Over the hump day!   I've been on the LW board posting and I was thinking I already started M&M until I went to update it!

I Love Beef Jerky and it is a great source of Protein that keeps you chewing for awhile.  It's on sale at our Rite Aid Pharmacy for $2.99 a bag (great price) and then you get $1.00 off your next purchase.  So the first one cost me $2.99 and every one after that has only cost me $1.99 (they ring them up separately so I can use the coupon).

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period!

    Hi Roz,

I have eaten beef jerky for snack to get the chew factor since my surgery. Love it.

I have been going through some transitioning in my life. I figure not many will read this since its yesterday's M&M, but I'm getting some medical help for my drinking. I haven't had a drink for two weeks tomorrow. Funny, I thought 5 pounds would drop off immediately. I thought wrong. I've lost 2 pounds in two weeks. But at least I'm sober. Thanks for the ears. I've heard that some WLS people substitute drinking for eating but I never dreamed it would be me.

    Today:
1/2 wheat thin, two turkey sausage pattie, one egg.
3 oz grilled fish, 1/2 roasted red pepper, grilled pineapple spear.

I'm so glad you posted and I'm glad you are staying sober!!!  Did you get some help with that?

I think most of us have substituted eating with something and yes a lot do turn to drinking.  I went through a shopping phase and I have the credit card bills to prove it

I went through a very bad carb period and it has taken me quite awhile to get off a couple of pounds. Now I'm just hoping they stay away.

    Good Menu!
