Menus and Miles Wed. June 20th

Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!

Over the hump day! 1/2 way to the weekend...YEAH! Just got back from my morning walk. It's going to be in the mid 90's here today so I decided I had better do it early.

How's everyone doing? I'm still doing great on the "no carbs" but the scale is still stuck at 119. I can deal with that as long as it doesn't move up into the 120's but I would prefer it to go the other direction.

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period!

I know the feeling!!  I don't know if living alone would be good or bad.  Sometimes DH can be a bad influence on me.

Sounds Good Jody!  Keep it up!!!!!!!

I used to think Tom was a bad influence on me and if I got away from that environment, it would be ok - but what has happened is I developed the bad habits again because of it... so I have to break them!

Vitalady.com has just about every protein in sample size.  I think they are $2.99 each.

http://www.si03.com/reg_index.htm  has a 14 pack of Syntrax flavors for $14.00 (no postage)

Vitamin Shoppe sells it too.  They will match their website price.   I love their Twisted Cherry too.  I drink my Lemon Tea plain but it is so mild that you can put crystal lite in it for variety.   It mixes great in water.  Buy a shaker cup with a silver ball in it at someplace like GNC.

Record highs around our area.  It's killing DH working outside.  He had a ball game and called me around noon to tell me he wasn't going but then changed his mind after he found out the team was going to be short.  They ended up winning but you could tell both teams were worn out.  Old men should not being playing ball in this heat.

    Good Job Price!

    That's great Gina!

Mine is holding steady at 119.  It went down to 118 2 days and then bounce back up.  It hasn't went up to 120 though so I'm happy.  I've been walking every day though and enjoying it!

    Sounds Good!
