    Having a grateful day!

There are so many wonderful things in my life and I am really feeling it today...even as my three year old throws a temper tantrum because he isnt wearing pants (?!)...yet he wont let me put them on him(?!)

I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful boys, 5 and 3.

I was able to get my DS and have lost 55 pounds

I have a job on a bariatric post op unit.

    What are you grateful for?

Most excellent. I had 2 boys too and one would wear whatever I picked and the other one would only wear what he wanted to wear. lol

I'm grateful for my job which allowed me to have my DS and the freedom and money to do what I have to do to keep myself healthy.

I'm also grateful for my family who puts up with me. :)

I am grateful for my family who has been a great support through my WLS and my new knee.

I'm grateful to have a career that allows me to work for myself, at home, making my own schedule and enough money to play with my ponies.

I'm grateful for this group who have been a huge support to me for over 2 yrs now, from newbee trying to get approved for surgery to vet trying to figure out maintainance.

Congratulations on your 55 pounds - awesome job!!

I am grateful for my family.  My kids are grown and have their own kids now.  Sometimes I miss them being little(not teenagers)...  I love being a grandma.

I am grateful for the job I have that I truly love 99% of the time.

I am grateful to all of my friends on this board that I have made over the last 3 years.  I feel like this is my extended family and could not have had as much success without this group.

There is so much to be thankful for.  Thanks for posting this and making me stop and think about it.

I have just begun the process and have had several of my initial appointments with the surgeon, cardiologist,  a nutritionist, etc. This past month I also had an upper GI and an echocardiogram.
Still waiting on the results. I will need to see the nutritionist three more times and then the surgery can be scheduled. My BMI is 37, but I have lots of weight related health problems. I am grateful for the chance to finally take care of my lifelong weight problem. And I am grateful that there is a place to share with other people that understand.
DH coming to Belgium to pick me up from surgery (it's about 6 hours each way).

The discomfort and bloating is starting to subside which I'm very grateful for, I'm 5 days out but was starting to think it was never going to improve.

An uneventful recovery thus far! ;-)
