Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!

I know it's hard to post every day.  If I didn't start M&M I would struggle posting every day too but I for me posting is part of my maintenance routine and it helps keep me on track.  Losing weight and maintaining is a life long journey.  Just do the best you can and enjoy every single little step.

    Sounds Great!

I try not to think about it.  I sickens me to think I won't be around to watch my grandchildren grow up or to old to enjoy them.

This weekend I've got to make Pizza Chips and Salmon cakes.  I need healthy snacks that I can grab without worrying about the scale.

    Good Menu!

DH kept insisting he had a Dr. Appt. yesterday because someone mentioned it was August.  Aug. must have been sticking in his mind.

I keep waiting for our tomatoes to turn red.  Is it true it takes longer if you keep watching them....LOL It seems like it is.

    Good Menu!

I've put up 12 qts so far, eaten them every meal, given then away and still have bushes full and a counter full in the kitchen.  Seems like once mine start, they go full tilt.

    B: 1/2 Raisin Bran w/ 1/4 cup skim milk.
    S. Beef Jerky
    L. Beef fajita taco(minus the tortilla)
    S. Fresh fruit/ 15 goldfish crackers
D: Pizza ( Not your normal pizza, we made homeade pizza with a cauliflower crust) in the oven now.. Is hoping this will set well.. and something to have on a regular basis...

Let us know how the pizza turned out.

I used to love Raisen Bran but I haven't had it in a long time.  I know I would crave a second serving so it's best if I avoid it.

The pizza was excellent.. Will post the recipe later.... I know te goldfish aren't the greatest but they travel well in an ambulance.. Especially when it's rolling with lights and sirens.... Lol

For my birthday I ate a piece of hot cherry pie with vanilla ice cream.  It made me so sick.  I do not dump, but for some reason, since having RNY each and every time I eat ice cream it makes me sick to my stomach.  When will I learn.  So I'm being really honest here.  I should do this on the days I eat candy.

Daise, hope you feel better.  Happy Birthday!!

I can eat sugar free ice cream but if I eat the real thing I have to pretty much go to bed and feel horrible.  One of the few things that bother me.

Happy Birthday Dasie!!!  I can handle some ice cream but others make me sick too. It could have been the combination of the fat in the crust with the ice cream.
