Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!     

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES  during the Honeymoon Period.

 

Remembering 9/11 today.  Right across from my work is the biggest most Beautiful Flag I've ever seen at half-staff.  Such a sad day that was.

I have to cut out my Protein Drinks for awhile because my bladder is really riled up and I feel like I'm eating all day long.

Snack:               Baby carrots and a little bit of peanut butter

Snack:               Slice of Deli Ham and Cheese

Dinner:              1/2 Cup Spaghetti and meat sauce

Snack:               3 TBS. of Plain Popcorn Kernels made in microwave

Sorry about your bladder, IC sounds like a tough thing to cope with and you have to do what have to do.  I hope it settles down for you quickly (sent a word up to the 'man' upstairs too).

I don't remember seeing the picture before.  Thanks for the Prayers.  It's my fault I'm hurting again.  For 3 months I was pain free and I was doing ok on the Protein drinks but then I had jalapeno dip plus I started adding a little bit of diet soda into my diet.  I won't make that mistake again.  Besides the cramps getting injections are expensive and time consuming so I think I've learned my lesson this time.

SOME Chocolate....oh that sounds scarey....lol.

I've had a hard time concentrating today.  So much to do and I have been piddling instead.  But I did drive Teke this morning and put up peppers and beans.  That doesn't get my paperwork done but it is something.

Not enough sleep?  I've got to learn how to make soup!   I love soup but I'm not allowed canned soup because of the preservatives.  They only kind I know how to make is ham/bean but it has so much sodium in it.  Every recipe I've read has a lot of spices in Lentil soup.  What kind of spices and vegetables do you put in yours?  I'm going to have to check my list of approved foods to see what I would be allowed to put in it.

Hope your mood has pepped up a bit.  I sometimes get gloomy when I've had to many carbs.

Which Go Lean do you use?  I was just starting to enjoy the "friends" kind and stores quit carrying it.

My memory is no where near as good as it used to be, but I can remember exactly where I was 9/11 just like it was yesterday.

Sorry about your problems,  sure hope you can get it back under control and pain free quickly.

If I eat right I will be fine.  My probably is thinking 1 bite won't hurt but it sets me back every time.  I really don't know how others maintain without drinking the Protein drinks.  I feel like I am eating all of the time.

B - 2 protein coffees (60g) [heaping scoop of vanilla protein powder, a dash of cinnamon, 3-6 oz of 1/2 & 1/2, and enough coffee to fill a 20 ounce blender bottle to the tip]
S - protein coffee (30g) and Greek yogurt w/blueberries
S - peanuts
L - protein shake
S - some leftover Chinese
D - fish nuggets and a hard cider
S - CarbSmart ice cream

VITES:
morning batch: done
4 calcium batches: done
iron: skipping
evening batch: done
