Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!     

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES  during the Honeymoon Period.

 

I feel I need to repeat this:  I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!!  I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up.   It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

 

A new development with DD's stolen van.  Apparently right before she removed her ICloud and cleared everything from the stolen IPad the thief took selfies of himself and they showed up on her phone.  She never found them until midnight last night.  She texted the pictures (address and all) to the Police Officer in charge of the theft and he contacted her during the night.  It is such a shame. He looks like he is in high school. 

Maintenance Mode and 6+ years out

Breakfast: 

Protein:      Matrix Mint Cookie 46g

Snack:        2 small turkey sticks

Lunch:        Small Wendy's Chili

Snack:        1 Lite Swiss Laughing Cow Wedge and 5 Saltines

Snack:        Cheese Stick

Snack:        Matrix Mint Cookie  23g      

Snack:        Nature Valley Almond Crunch Bar--YUM!! (ONLY buy the Gluten Free)       

Dinner:      

Snack:        3 TB. of unpopped Popcorn   (didn't start this until I was on Maintenance)

Hi Roz.  It's so sad when something like that happens - you feel so violated.  What is wrong with people nowadays???

I'm still in Chicago.  I'm not snacking but eating - oh my!!!  

Today
B - coffee and scrambled eggs w/cheese/salsa.  a few bits of turkey sausage links (yuk)

L/D - sushi.  I didn't overeat but was plenty full ... a little miso soup.

Vits:  yes

Water:  I'm way low...

HW-218/SW-208/CW-126/ Lowest Weight-121/Goal-125 - hit 8/23/09/Height-5'3"

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it.  Took 8 months. 
90+/- pounds lost      
BMI - 24 or so
Starting BMI between 35 and 40ish?

I've missed you posting! It's hard to eat away from home. You are probably eating less from not snacking.

ROZ, how terrible. I was determined not to let the carb monster get me and succeeded! No exercise and not enough water.

B-1 hard boiled egg, coffee

Hi Roz,

Hope they catch them and get the rest of her stuff back...

DH and I have started trying to walk every day.  He walks in the morning just around our block - it is about 1/2 mile - I can't seem to get up early enough to do that!  I have to do it when it cools off in the evening.  I did go this morning and again tonight.  I feel so much better when I do some type of exercise.

 They caught him and left him go. I'm  guessing because he was only 16. 

I wish DH would walk with me. Our evenings are getting cool already.

MILES:
3 - 15 minute walks, 30 leaning push-ups, 30 squats and stretches

My kids are finally understanding what being punished is all about.  2 weeks ago for not doing chores we yanked the cable lines to all 4 TVs downstairs.  Only TV that has cable is my room.  the following week they still didn't want to do chores (easy stuff) so we changed the wifi password so no Netflix, Ipad and computer.  This is day 12 with no cable and day 5 with no wifi.  My children are going nuts.  Bored as hell acting like its my fault that they don't have nothing to do.  Last night the 14 year old is sulking around the house and started doing chores.  He calls me from the house phone upstairs like 5x in a row telling me he did chores.  I told him yah today.  If everything is done tomorrow we will give you back one thing.  If not then its another week.  I pray its done.  Teenagers suck!!!!

Ok on with yesterdays menu.

B:  Overnight oats with blueberries (same thing all week)

S:  Coffee Protein with 2c spinach

L: Taco Salad

S: 1 cup cucumbers

D:  Lettuce wrapped cheeseburger with mustard

Exercise:  We went swimming in the pool yesterday for 1 hour and played volleyball. I had 9954 steps.
