Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES  during the Honeymoon Period.

I feel I need to repeat this:  I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!!  I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up.   It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

What a Beautiful Morning in PA!!!!  We had a wonderful relaxing family day yesterday.  Wagon rides, a wiener roast in the fire pit, and watching one of grandsons shot all of my animal statues in my flower beds with the bow Pappy got him for Christmas while the rest jumped on the trampoline, swings, and played in the sandbox.   Off to church...will catch up with you all later!!

Breakfast:

Protein:       Matrix Mint Cookie  35g

Snack:

Lunch:

What an amazing day! Roz and all my lightweight friends thank you so much for all of your responses and support. Today I asked my wonderful husband for the same. I requested his help in dealing with the carb monster that attacks me at night, or rather the carbs that I willingly ingest. While drinking our coffee on the porch this morning I confessed to my DH that I am having a terrible time at night after supper. I also verbalized my desire to not eat in the evening because it sets of a chain reaction of snacking non stop. My decision(just for today to start)was to not eat anything after dinner. Water, coffee, protein shake is o.k.

After a great food day, an hour of exercise, a delicious dinner, I am now sipping my coffee content in the knowledge that I will not be bingeing on carbs tonight.

B-Greek Yogurt(plain non fat) with 1 Tbl. SF syrup and 1 Tbl. coconut flakes

L-salad with dressing, .5 ounce cheddar cheese and 2.5 ounces of turkey

S-small apple

D-chicken, salad, salad dressing

S-protein shake?

hi Roz

i use nector iced tea.  made by syntex.  i really do love it.  cheese crisps are so yummy.  1 tablespoon of parmesan cheese on a cookie pan.  oven temp 375 cook for 5 mins if you like a little chewy, 6 mins for more of a crisp chip.  4 chips = 100 cals, 5 carbs and 8 protein.
