WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.

I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

 

Morning LW's!!!  The cupboards are bare!  I HAVE to make a trip to the grocery store!!

It's been a good day eating right.  I've cancelled my online Weigh****chers because I don't need to be spending money for a weight loss program.  I took drastic measures 8 years ago to lose weight and I need to follow those rules.  I would much rather spend $19.95 a month on quilting projects.

I got a lot of quilting projects done this weekend.  Project Linus has requested more quilts.  They have more children needing them.  My quilt guild makes quilts for various charities. 

I did work a temp job Friday and will work the 26th, 27th and 31st.  The Friday job was the easiest money I've ever made.  I babysat the reception desk and a total of 3 people came in all day.  The upcoming job is at a place I've been too several times and really like it there.

L - 2 cheese sticks; 1/4 cup dry roasted peanuts

D - Turkey burger; roasted veggies

S - Strawberries

Hummm.....looks a little low on protein.

That happens when I am working on a quilt.  This afternoon I met up with quilting friends to talk about machine quilting.  What an exciting life I lead.....:)
