Has anyone in here seen someone a couple years out finally lose the weight?

I had vsg in 2013 and I am currently only 9 lbs under where I was the day of surgery. I am getting strict on the carbs and protein and working on taking in more water. What I want to know is whether or not it's possible to lose the weight doing post surgery eating plan several years out from surgery or am I still going to need a second surgery? My only concern about a second surgery is that I will have problems with my meds because of the bypass. I know either way I will be able to get my eating habits back on track I just want to know if it's too late for me? I have three months and 21 lbs before I can have surgery any way but do I really need it? What do you guys think?

What kind of surgery did you originally have? You might want to go to that board. I'm pretty new, but I've seen good advice for other people that have gained some of their weight back.

I don't know about VSG but I know posters that had the RNY that were able to loose pounds and get close to where they were.

vsg easily converts to a ds
