    Hi everyone...

    My vitamin d is extremely low. My doc recommends 5000iu once a day, but I know Vitalady recommends more. What do you think? Gina? Anyone? I definitely have symptoms.

     So, this week I tried replacing pasta in a few dishes with zucchini, the way Michelle does at eggface.

    I made lasagna rolls using grilled flat zucchini slices, and tonight, I made chicken "noodle" soup, replacing the pasta with zucchini "noodles" (cut with a julienne peeler).

    It was SOOO good.  Seriously.

     Oh my, I am confused!  I called and said I had a hard time with ferrous sulfate in the past and asked her to prescribe proferrin forte.  I should pick up today.

    Should I push for a ferritin blood draw?

    It doesn't look like she tested ferritin.  I have the hardest time getting anyone to test ferritin!

     Hi Ladies,

    I got labs back and found out I have low iron.

    My total  was 47 mctg/dl
    and my saturation was only 11%

    She is my primary care and recommended ferrous sulfate 325mg twice a day with food.  Is that accurate for me with my surgery?

     I'm here and I did track yesterday, just didn't post here :( I now set my browser to open this and the dailyplate upon opening, so hopefully I will be better about it.

    Has anyone else tried the Light & Fit greek yogurt?  OMG so delicious.  Finally a flavored greek yogurt that I can eat.  I dump so I can't eat regular flavored greek yogurt, and I find plain to taste like eating sour cream!

    Although I can't do sugar alcohols...they make Gertie (my pouch) into a gurgling gut.

    I will start checking in.  I guess in order to switch my support program I have to pay $140 to meet with the nutritionist to get started.  Worth it for sure, but not the best time (back to school, 3 birthdays in a row, etc).  I am going to do it though because I am worth it!!!

    I actually want to lose 15 lbs, but the tracking says to lose I should eat 1100...isn't that too low?
