My fiance is having surgery Tuesday?

I am so happy for him. I was wondering if anyone here could help with how to be most supportive. He has been a little on edge and I am sure it is his nerves...it has been a little difficult...how have you handled the pressure the patient is under?

Honey just be patient with him ...men are big babies and they need all the attention that they can get. My hubby is having his surgery tommorow and he has been a wreck sort of...but i have manage to ease this for him b/c i had the surgery 3 months ago so I say I have the upper hand..LOL good luck, Norma

Hello! Congrats to your fiance! MY DP is having her surgery on oct 16th. I am feeling what you felt. I am trying to be supportive, but its hard when Im not feeling what she is feeling. I know it will be good for her, and ultimatly, us. I want to be as supportive as i can be. Anything you have learned going thru it that you can share?
