i am just really begining this journey and have the support and determination to meet this goal.
I refuse to give up under any circumstances.

I was in aquafit before the surgery and cant wait to return to it so I need to be patient. In the mean time I will walk and walk some more.

I just lost my first 100 lbs in 6 1/2 months post op

I am scheduled for surgery on 03/22/2010! Can't wait to have this new tool to help me get healthy and to have a healthier lifestyle.

This is a process and it's only been 2 mos but I have to say I am already healthier, losing weight, being more active and enjoying life more!

Finally starting my journey!! Just saw the internist at The Ottawa Hospital and I have 2 scans to do before I see her again. Not sure if I will be cleared for surgery.

I am just starting this journey. I have seen the initial seminar describing the possible surgeries. I have chosen RNY bypass. I have also taken the Nutrition class and will begin the workshops next month. I still have to have bloodwork done and the psychological evaluation before they will submit to my insurance for approval. My surgeon is Mark Caravetta with the Synergy Bariatric group in Amherst NY. I am anxious, a little afraid but mostly excited to be taking this step toward my healthy future.

can anyone help i just had something called gastric switch and it's been a month now and i still have bad nausea.I haven't been able to keep water down,and also I'm tired of only being able to eat baby food.Anyone have some advise on how long is this going to last.

I am a newby. I've done all the legwork. Date set for May 30, 2013. I a having the full gastric bypss. On one hand, I can't wait and on the other hand I'm a terrified.
