This takes a while, especially when, even though you're losing, your brain still sees you as fat when you look in a mirror. A psychiatrist that came to one of our support group meetings said that it's normal for your brain to see the "old you" even when you've lost so much weight. It took me about 7-9 months for me to finally see the "new me" in the mirror. Good luck!
