I, in the beginning, had wanted the lap-band surgery, but having discussed this at length with my surgeon, it was determined that the by-pass would better help me achieve my goals. Anyway this decision puts me in better means to stick to the goal I have stated....10 lbs. at a time! My daughter rewards herself with a new bead on her special bracelet every 10 lbs. Good, good idea!
