I had some issues with infection in my incision, but a call and visit to my surgeon, and a round of antibiotics and neosporin has me on track again!

Whew! Thanking God all went well. Nausea was due to liquid Percoset. Once we changed that, everything went smoothly. Goal met. Onto the next.

Congrats all!!! I had my surgery June 1st and I'm doing great, feel wonderful. A little pain here and there, but NO PAIN NO GAIN!!

If you do what their doctors tell you and IF you do have A PROBLEM contact the nursing staff. I had mine done in 1983 when it was still new.DOING GOOD

DO AS YOUR DR SAYS AND IF A PROBLEM CALL THE NURSING STAFF AND YOU WILL DO GREAT. I HAD MINE IN 1983 AND DOING GOOD YET.

I had mine 6/29/2009 and came home 7/1/2009. RNY. So far so good. Just a little soreness and theintestines waking up ROARING!hopefully will calm down!

I' doing great!!! Had some diaherra over the last few days, but that has calmed down. I got home yesterday, and yesterday was my worst "pain" day.

I had surgery 6/29 and I got home 7/1. I'm doing pretty well. Some gas pains but Gas-X helped them. Hopefully we will all continue to heal!

1 week out and doing ok. Still a little sore, but that is to be expected. I am thankful I am home and with family.

I'm so blessed - had VSG on 12/08/09 & aside from the extreme thirst, sore throat & gas pain I was fine. Didn't have any pain from surgery by day 2

the pain was nowhere near what i expected! the surgery itself went off without a hitch. i hope all yalls experience was as good as mine!

V blessed 2 b 9 1/2 yrs w no WLS surg comp. Not even 1 scope! :)I followed my prog, lost 225#, &have maintained over 200#. Looking forward 2 10 yr anv

Hello all! I just joined and my RNY is scheduled for June 8th. I am so excited!! But as the day approaches, i'm getting more nervous. Any tips?

Had VSG 10/21/10 and made it through with zero complications. It took a week or so to love my sleeve but I do now. No regrets! Goal Accomplished!

No big complications just switched from Bypass to VSG. Coming along with the healing process so I've met this goal
