was told id be having surgery the second week of december but they just sent for insurance approval

I have Aetna but they are just the administrator of the plan it is actually my employer who calls the shots

My insurance company said that they won't pay for my surgery at all, that there is an exclusion on the policy.

I've gotten everything I need for approval except the 3 consecutive visits w/a nutrionist. I only have 1 more left and it's coming up in 2 weeks!!

I'm on the home stretch. I have an appointment with my doctor to get the surgery approval submitted to the insurance company.

I finally got approved last week- woohoo!!

Hang in there guys... you'll get there. It took me almost a year to get approved. Just be persistent!!!

I just got the news today that my insurance company approved me for lap banding. My surgery date is June 3!!!! I am so excited!

Had my final fist with my surgeon's PA today.
EGD scheduled for April 22nd, surgery RNY, May 4th. I have asked to be put on the cancellation list.

I GOT OUR APPROVAL CALLS FROM THE DR YESTERDAY FOR ME AND MY PARTNERS DATES THAT WERE SET FOR MAY 5,2010 AND MARCS WHOS WAS SET UP FOR MAY 12, 2010

I just found out my insurance company denied my coverage and now having to go through an appeal. I'm very depressed & not very hopeful. Any advice?

I got the approval from my insurance company last week and the surgery is scheduled for 10/6/10. I am a combination of nervous and excited. YAY !!
