Forgive me, I know this is silly.

I'm trying to picture the drains and where the heck they go while wearing a compression garment??

Are the drain tubes tucked inside the garment?

I'm going to have a BL/BA, tummy tuck and mini thigh lift.  I do not believe there will be drains for the breasts (but I may be wrong).  I do know there will be drains for the Tummy and I'm assuming the thighs.

Are the garments Dr. S provides the ones you pull on?  Do they zip up the sides?  Inquiring minds want to know!
But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded. ~2 Chronicles 15:7

The actual tube is inside the garment.  The bulbs are attached to the outside of the compression garments or a lanyard. I had 1 in each knee, 1 in the mons area and 1 in each elbow.  I admit it was very scary putting on the garments you just hold the tube and pull the garment over it.  There is suction so they still drain even though they are inside.  The garments hook on each side and then zip.  The breast garment has hooks.  Look through some of the pictures and you can see what they look like.  Gross lil suckers but oh so necessary!!

Hello,
I had 11 drains.
Two head
Two Breasts
Two Arms
Two Legs
Three abdomen

Here's what they look like.  In the first pic, I'm looking down into my lap as the drains lay there on the bed.  In the second shot, I'm standing up and the drains are hooked to my garment.

My drains:
3 mons
2 leg
2 arm
1 left breast
2 behind ears

You just have to be careful getting in or out of your garments.  Once the tubing is fed through the sleeves or other holes, then the drains are clipped to the garments.    Taking a shower, you clip all the drains on a lanyard.

If you look at the alien babies as a good thing, to get the excess water out of your body, it makes it easier to handle.  You want them in as long as they are extracting liquid.

You'll probably have the bra/arm garment then a body compression garment.  You step into it and then there are eye hooks and zippers on both sides.  The bra has snaps in the back and in the front.

One of my first pics out of surgery, shows the bra/body garments.
