Our team offers a DAILY, FREE online support group with discussion topics written by a team of volunteers, all of whom have lost and maintained weight loss. The days of the week are outlined as: SUPPORT GROUP SUNDAY offers a discussion from successful support groups and emphasizes the importance of joining and being active. MONDAY MUNCHIES focuses on high protein recipes and portion control. Participants are encouraged to share their stories and ask questions. In TUESDAY TIPS the group is presented with a post that offers general tips that aren't covered on the other days. We also pay particular attention to general questions asked by participants. On WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY we pause to celebrate our victories. The online group is presented with stories of the changes in our lives that can't be measured by a number on the scale, called NSV or non-scale victories. In THIRSTY THURSDAY we are presented with a post that offers ideas and tips for making sure we get enough fluids. Dehydration is a common problem for people on this journey. FRIDAY FAVORITES offer motivational sayings and stories. The online group is presented with a post that starts with a favorite saying and is given examples from our experiences. SATURDAY SITUPS provides tips considering that for some of us, moving at all is very new, while a few are involved in bodybuilding with trainers. Participants are encouraged to start a routine and share with the group as they progress, become discouraged or have questions.
