Good morning....138.0

Starting at Farrell's Extreme Bodyshaping this afternoon.  Six days a week of kick-boxing and strength-training.  A little scared but I have a LOT of room for improvement!  Goal is to build 3-4 lbs. of muscle and lose 5 lbs.  That would put me close to or at 20% body fat.

Yah---go Tracy!!!  I'm coming to the painful awareness, that with winter- plastics- laziness- etc., I have turned into a total fitness slackard.  Time to remedy that.  Now for a plan and the commitment necessary to implement it. 147.2

  goal!!! August 20, 2013   age: 59  High weight: 345 (June, 2011)  Consult weight: 293 (June, 2012)  Pre-Op: 253 (Nov., 2012) Surgery weight: 235 (Dec. 12, 2012) Current weight: 145

 TOTAL POUNDS LOST- 200 (110 pounds lost before surgery, 90 pounds lost Post Op.diabetes in remission-blood pressure normal-cholesterol and triglyceride levels normal!  BMI from 55.6  supermorbidly obese to 23.6  normal!!!!

My surgeon actually pointed out to me at my last follow-up that I seemed to be "coasting" on the physical activity piece and that I needed to shake things up.  He suggested Farrell's or CrossFit and I just happened to get a really good deal on Farrell's.  

I need a structured program to get my butt to a gym and the competitiveness of group activity to push myself.  Otherwise I'll just sit around the house and read all night!

I read what you wrote yesterday and could never get OH to let me reply!!!!  I know I do better on the weekends when I'm in a more controlled environment.  I'm still trying to deal with being outside the bubble.  I want the mentality I had for the first 6 months.  I'm a stress eater.  I like to eat...happy, sad, depressed, hungry, not hungry....I can't say I'm really hungry anymore.  I eat on impulse and then later I regret it. ****** me off.  I'm rambling...Trying to stay above water until school is out and then go hard core.  Right now, just trying to do the best I can.

Monday and back to the Library and my bestie and the kids. I'm kinda happy to be back in the groove.

112.4 today. I wrenched my back last night so things are not going according to plan today. I was in so much pain I actually fainted. Fortunately my husband saw it coming so he supported my fall. Gratitude - if I weighed 110 pounds more I would have hit the floor a whole lot harder.
