144.2 - Happy Administrative Professionals Day! Or, if you are old and annoyed at all the politically correct bullcrap - Happy Secretary's Day!

My boss threatened to bring in a bunch of bad/good food today. I feel weak (read Weakass, edelu) when it comes to food decisions as it is right now. But, I don't eat crap food at school, so I shall not partake.

Wearing my hair curly today. Got my Colorado Rockies jersey on for Jersey Day (it's prom week and each day is something different).  Rockin' my bad self. The Bat Signal went out yesterday, so I will be changing out a projector this morning. Fun just abounds.

139.8 -- I'm into the third week of this kick-boxing/resistance training class and the difference in my arms is amazing!  Wi**** would extend to my butt and gut but alas there's too much excess skin to see those results.

Trying not to get discouraged with the scale but sure wi**** would drop a bit.  Will be going back at the end of June for another round of body-fat testing to see if this extreme exercise program made a difference.

144.8 - I have to get back on track.  I have been maintaining between 140-145 but my eating hasn't been on point last week and this week and the scale is showing it.  I have a vacation planned to Aruba the first week of June so I need to use that as my motivation.

167.0    I know why -- stupid eating and way down on sleep.  Working on decarb today, but sleep won't resolve until husband returns from travel.  No sleep aids when I'm the only adult at home, just in case.  Case in point:  I learned yesterday that, about three weeks ago, a guy barricaded himself in a house and set it on fire while he, his girlfriend, and her six kids were inside.   This was at around 3am, and it was roughly a block from our house.  Stuff does happen.  The fact that we've been under a fire warning creeped me out about it all the more.

I also started exercising again yesterday after laying off for some days.

147.8 - was expecting a gain today not a loss, based on my monthly patterns, so I'll take it with a big grin.  Somebody knew I'd need a bad-ass attitude to skip the staff appreciation donuts in the break room this morning.  By my calculation, half a donut has approximately 3000 calories, if I include all the other crap I'd end up eating after that sugar hit my bloodstream.

One of the bloggers I follow had a post earlier this week about how he became known at work as "the guy who doesn't eat cupcakes".  He actually really likes them, but has a personal "no surprise food" rule.  He enjoys the occasional indulgent treat, but only when he's able to plan it, and work it into his food plan for the day. So, food that turns up at work to celebrate someone's birthday or other wor****asion simply isn't an option for him.  I thought that was an interesting approach (though I don't know about the rest of you, but I could get pretty good at predicting and "planning for" donuts at work for certain occasions - wouldn't work for me!)  The funny part of the story was, he's leaving his job to move across country, and they ALWAYS have cupcakes for something like a work farewell party, so he'd planned around it.  But because he's "the guy who doesn't eat cupcakes", his coworkers didn't bring any food.

113.6 today. All is well in my world, hoping that resting the knee helps for Sunday. In also looking at various taping methods to see if that lends a little support.

Off to get my nails done. A nice treat this morning.

102.6 lbs today.  Not the direction I was hoping for.  I seem to be hungrier lately.  Oh well, its all data at this point.

Have a good one, all.
