115 for me today.

Jubjub that's an audacious weight goal you've set. I admire you for setting it over the holiday season - great motivation.

I have a secret weapon!  My wife is traveling back to Minneapolis, over the holidays, while I stay in New Jersey with our dogs... So I won't be around all the holiday food, etc.  AND I can focus on training as I'll be alone and have not too much else to do.

Secret weapon or no secret weapon, still audacious, my friend!  Food easily finds us former fatties at this time of year. So I'm bowing down to you!

I also started an aggressive 10-week training block last Monday so I'm ready for the first event of my 2015 cycling season - the Tour de Palm Springs in mid-February.  Getting a few pounds off will be very helpful as there's a lot of climbing out there... we do a full week of riding including some big climbs in the mountains.

122.5.   No secret weapons for me for the holidays.   traveling this week for a sort of early christmas - family reunion.  I always take the stairs at my mom's place to combat the extra food.  my mom, who battled weight all her adult life, is now very thin and we are always trying to get calories into her - ice cream and such.  she thinks i should eat it too.  oh well.   diane

Yesterday was my 3 year surgiversary. Feeling good about where I am today even though I'm a ways off from goal still. As I posted on the main VSG board, I'm very grateful for VSG. If I hadn't done it, I'd still be morbidly obese and would have no clue about how deeply rooted and biological my food issues are!
