I've had two days this week where I derailed a good day by grazing when I got home.  I think it's work stress getting to me, and both days I had scheduling conflicts that prevented my lunchtime workouts - I think there's a correlation there.  I've had five good solid weeks until now, so I need to nip this in the bud pronto.

I need to beef up my evening strategies.  When the daylight hours are longer my best bet is to go for a walk when I get home (husband gets home quite a bit later, so I have a gap before I can start dinner).  I often make in an errand - walk to the grocery store or to the library.  This time of year that's not a good option, at least not outdoors, and traffic is reliably worse this time of year, so it's a bad idea to plan my workouts for after work anyway - too often I walk in the door and husband's expected in about 20 minutes.

You'd think I could keep myself out of trouble for 20 minutes.  It's more of a challenge if he's running late, and it turns into 40 or 50 minutes, and it's dinner time - I'm hungry.

It's manageable, I just need to work on my strategies, and be better about USING them. If I'm going to check email, I need to do it on the computer upstairs, not on the tablet downstairs, right next to the kitchen pantry (duh).  If I really need a snack to hold off until dinner, I should grab something, and then get myself away from the kitchen.

Just thinking out loud here....

114 today.  That feels better, but I definitely need to stay vigilant
