Monday July 20th. Not quite sure just where last week went.

Morning:

Yesterday was a great -stick-to-the-plan day. Scale has not budged but am pleased with self.    

Have you heard of the 5:2 diet? Apparently this is huge in the UK and in Australia.

The only snag is the word ' DIET'.   I hear that and my heart and mind quake.  

When I had the surgery I had made up my mind that this is a life-style change for the rest of my life and other than the re-gain of 25 pounds it has been.  And the great thing is that when I do binge now I know it.  Before my whole life was binge driven.

One day at a time.  And may YOUR day be focused on today and all that it holds.

yeah, DIET is a 4 letter word.  You are right its about ha*****ange being the goal. There is a great book called "Diets Dont Work" about making ha*****anges as opposed to following a diet program. 

Lots of paperwork business stuff to do today.

Hi All!  Weight is fairly stable, though I've been taking too many liberties with refined carbs that will catch up to me if I'm not careful.  Today has been so busy - Mondays usually are even when not short staffed - and I've been keeping to healthy things I have on hand.  I interviewed someone on Friday who, if the references come out good, would be a great addition!  I also was forwarded another good candidate's resume from HR just this morning, so things are definitely on the upswing.  YAY!  I can't promise I can be here daily, but I am trying to get back on track as posting every day helps tremendously with my accountability.  Have a great rest of the day!   Mary
