128.4 - almost to my pre-vacation level - Booooooooo!

Especially thinking of Shel today as she gets her LBL and Diane O as she is recovering from cellulitis! I wish you both speedy healing!

My goal for today is to not have any entries in my "junk" category on MFP. Too many "junk" calories as of late. Didn't get in any exercise yesterday - just didn't feel well. I actually had to lay down twice and rest - so not like me!

Work today. Hopefully will get something in on the exercise front.

Wishing you all a Marvelous Monday!

Good Morning.

WT 222.2  up 1.2 Cal 1327  My wt does this every time I try to quit nuts and yogurt.  Usually at a week or so I get frustrated with no weight loss and give up with just one yogurt.  Then another.  I can see a pattern this time.

We keep bees.  Got into them yesterday and got too hot.  Didn't do much the rest of the day.

Shel best wishes on the LBL today.  Speedy recovery to all.

David, thinking of you and sending you strength to make it through the day. It can be really tough to commit to something different, but if you can make it through the first day, you can turn the corner and start getting your energy going in a better direction. Be strong!

160# Yes, you read that right....WTF!!!  Leaving on vacation today and trying not to just say Screw it!  Rationally, I know not enough water yesterday, salt and more salt and I did eat a handful of nuts with M&M's.  I didn't eat the rice sticks or have alcohol yesterday.  Fresh salad for lunch and chicken lettuce wraps for dinner...My dysfunctional brain says eat whatever you want it doesn't matter what you do...I'm sick of it all!!!

I will push through and ENJOY my holiday. In the big picture, it's just a number. I will be mindful but decided I need a break...no tracking and there is no scale.  We will walk every morning and do Yoga.  That will have to be enough.

Thinking about Shel, Paula, Carbon and Diane for healing!

Off I go....in the car for 9 hours...Yay!

I was on a BP med that made me crave salt.  I think I lost 5 lbs when I was able to stop that.  Hope you have a great vacation!  I would schedule off plan choices now.  Having a plan has always helped for me even when I didn't follow the plan.  9 hours sounds like fun.  I used to drive 19 one a week on a 7 on 7 off schedule.  It was the most peaceful part of the week.

Good Morning Visionary Victors !

Each of us has a vision for what a happy, healthy, balanced life means for us. Not only do our aspirations anchor our goals, but they can make it easier to focus on the gap between where we are and where we want to be. It seems to me that this can be the spot where we can get "stuck", investing energy identifying what we haven't done, still need to accomplish, had but lost... If we can take that clarity about where we are in relation to our goals/aspirations and invest our energy in identifying what has worked, positive changes we have successfully integrated into our lives, little steps we can take to keep things moving in the right direction... I know that's where I need to keep myself centered.

Too many pain meds, or does that make some sense ? LOL!

144.4 today. One step ahead at a time. Thinking of Shel and others in pain. Sadie is such a blessing ! She knows I'm hurting, and is truly loving me up.

Umm, I want some of what you're taking! LOL! No, seriously, it makes sense what you say. Though, if the meds are helping you think in such a manner, I want some, too! Bwahahaha!

You make a very good point. It immediately struck me that I have NO vision of what I think my happy, healthy, balanced life might be. I'm always just focused on the food aspect....Hmmm....

You gave me something to ponder today.
