Starting to reduce calories.  Maybe I am getting up and eating in my sleep. LOL

Started floor installation in the Airstream.  All day squats had me grabbing the heating pad and early bedtime.  Small spaces are the most difficult to do.  The floor looks good but it is not the simple click lock together that it was supposed to be.  No bike ride.  More squats for today.  I may have to crank out the hot tub.

Have a wonderful Saturday.

Good morning.

Dave, we have a camper dealership near our home which advertises Airstream, can't pass it without thinking of you now!

Last full day of the conference.  Morning sessions tomorrow and then I'll fly home in the evening.  Yesterday was a tough eating day, I felt like I gave into more things than I should.  I justified it by saying to myself that I was eating what everyone else was, but I'm not like them.  I hate feeling not in control, hate not having a scale.  Just want to go home.

Heading to class to get my geek on- have a great day all!!

Morning

Dave looking forward to your finished floor.   Heather, it is one day and while it is freaky at least you are aware.   Well done.

for those of us who need to spend time in the smallest room in the house may  you all 'go ' according to plan.

food just ok.  Scales not budging but walking with cane is so very helpful.

Happy Sat everyone.

122's, yoga'd yesterday, poor steps

At least we all fit in the smallest rooms of the house.  And, we CAN squat tho may have later regrets.

I worry and fret when I don't have a scale available.  I magnify every extra calorie.  Somehow, it all works out.  I do like eating salty foods when there is no scale because I never have to look at the temporary water weight as long as I cut back 1.5-2 days before weighing.  Funny brain.

Must run out the door,

Make it a skinny Saturday,

Shel

Oh boy, where to start?

My shoulder injury is not good. I think I exacerbated it doing the elliptical yesterday. It could also have been worsened by carrying Lucy to the car and into the vet hospital.

We lost our little girl last night. She made it a whole 2 years, 1 month and 11 days. Her life was longer than anyone imagined it would be and she did have a very happy life. Yesterday was the day she was meant to leave us. There was no question in our minds. She either threw a major clot to the brain or had an aneurysm. A complication of her pulmonary stenosis was hypercythemia. As the hypercythemia got worse and worse her blood pressure got higher and higher. Even though she was on atenolol twice per day her BP was not under control. By the time we got her to the vet she could not really maintain her balance, nor could she walk except in a very tight circle to the left. She also lost her sight at some point between home and the vet hospital. Through it all she never left my embrace. I held her and pet her and whispered to her until she was gone. My hands were the hands that welcomed her to this life and they were the hands that helped carry her out of this life. So tough, even though we knew it would come sooner rather than later.

I was surprised that my food remained as good as it did last night. Ron, who usually does not eat during stress, wanted comfort junk food. He ate a munchie meal from Jack in the Box. I ate a taco and part of a chicken sandwich thing. I did not really like it and my restriction was working over time, so I did not eat much at all. I did have ice cream later, and honestly, if it had not been for my restriction, I probably would have eaten half a carton rather than a small cup.

I've cancelled my groomings for today. I figure sitting up with an ice pack and eating motrin (I know bad for my sleeve) for my shoulder half the night was a good enough reason to cancel. So, I have a hair cut and an easy rest of the day. Too bad my shoulder hurts like a son of a gun. The heartache I can deal with.
