Sunday, October 9. Canadian Thanksgiving

morning all.   Thank you for your kind words.   Had a much better day yesterday with nearly 8,000 steps including a long hill.   Going up is fine, coming down is ouch.

Renren you are doing just fine.   Shel, my heart goes out to you.  And for us all am guessing that it is a one day at a time scenario.

We are going out for turkey dinner for the first time in forever.   The down side is no left overs.

have a great day!!

Happy Thanksgiving to our friends to the Great North!

123's.  Yoga and good steps yesterday, even in the cold and wet weather.  Just us crazies out there.

The home front is simmering down. Thank you for your encouraging words.   DD seemed to improve as the day went on.  Good thing because I was running out of excuses to knock on Fort Knox.  DH didn't fair so well but I was glad to see that.  I would like to think that was self-reflection, not a strong suit for him.  Usually he just doubles down on being "right."  Nobody lashed out at me.

In yoga, they say we store a lot of negative emotion in the hips so when you work out the hips you let out those emotions.   There is one instructor, in particular, who is gifted at bringing so much sensation to my hips that I feel drained after 10-15 minutes. None of it is particularly hard so I don't know how she accomplishes this.  Maybe some sort of yoga voodoo sequencing. It is never painful, but (like the dentist) one feels like it might go from 0-10 in a split second.  Today, she is doing a hip workshop for 2 hours.  Heaven help me.

Wring out those negatives, peeps!  (Except for those of you enjoying Thanksgiving....take in all the positives!)

Shel

Greetings Super Copers

130.5 today. Can I please have a peek at a 2 (and not 200)

Well you are all super copers for coping with all the stresses of life. Glad things are a little better Shel and Carbon.

Hmm, the hip energy thing is interesting. I have been having some persistent hip pain but the chiropractor relieved it.  But then I took the trip to the mothership and pain is back. Back to the chiropractor.

Hey my breeder had a dog out at the shows where Devon is. Dog is Logo and he won the championship  points. Have a feeling Logo will eventually be husband to my girl Tesla.  For dogs, arranged marriages are best. I think he is an English import.

Turkey dinners (indeed all dinners) are best eaten out. I am kind of tired of cooking.

Hubby has the wild child Tesla out for a walk. That means I will take her Dad Chip out later.

Linda you look fabulous in the tv clip. Every wls patient should see that.  Loved the look. What a great place to work.

Keep on coping.   Diane S
