Good Sunday morning

Maine folk, keep warm.  Nice stories of people not recognizing our former selves.

Great food day!!!  Steps 8799.

We seem to have missed the brunt of all the big storms, lotsa rain but not much wind.   Hope all of  you  on the west coast south of the border are ok.

128 OTD again! Today I start tracking food on MFP again. Got away from it with the wedding and move. It was a nice little break but I need that accountability. Need to get back into exercise routine as well. Should be a beautiful Fall day here in WI - 68 and sunny! I'm going to try and get some Fall pictures of the kids.

Have a great one my friends!

I'm glad you can begin to relax into a regular schedule again!

(OTD, again!  Even with 0.2 scale you are still OTD queen!)

Good morning!

140 OTD.  I can't even remember the last time our family had zero plans for the day but this is it!  Woo hoo!  Skipping exercise today and giving myself permission to enjoy being lazy!  Putting the finishing touches on the forst sweater I've ever knitted for myself and waiting for the Patriots game.  Making some football food...hoping the family won't notice that the meatballs are turkey- lol.

Hope you all have a happy and healthy day!

Heather :)

124, yoga'd and good steps in.

The storm didn't live up to the extreme hype.  A relief for many reasons.  In particular, DD's cross country team was traveling home from Oregon in it.   We did lose power for a few hours.  I rather like the quiet house with candles lit.  There was a candle that I thought was particularly nice and I see I bought it in Maine.  Maine rocks!

We have decent fall color this year --- something that the Puget Sound region usually lacks which disappoints my Iowa roots.   Someday, I'll check out those colors in the Northeast!

Breathe in the season!

Shel

113 and holding. Off to work again after an incredibly busy 10 hour day yesterday and I must admit I'm not feeling well. Probably the result of overdoing things.

DD is largely moved in, thanks to DH but I haven't been around to even notice yet!  Looking forward to a few days off to restore order on the home front before DH surgery on Thursday.

Greetings Delightful Skinnies;

131.5 -ish. Getting chilly here so I hate to weigh in the all-together. There is a steady rain today but no wind. Got pretty windy for awhile yesterday and the cable tv bleeped off a few times during the Husker football game (which they won) but overall, that was our biggest inconvenience so I count us lucky. That and we haven't gotten newspapers for several days which i wonder if it has to do with the house changing color and the numbers being down. Sigh, Sunday morning without a newspaper is so uncivilized. Obviously things are going well with us if thats all we have to complain about. We are blessed.

Big art sale at the studio all weekend and I have to go work there at 2. I am afraid the storm has ruined the sale and the results won't be good. Oh well, maybe we just do another one,

Sold a bunch of art from the gallery yesterday. Yay, more money for expensive quest bars. Truthfully, my food indulgences are now expensive coffee and seafood.

Hope all the family issues settle down with everyone. Have a lazy Sunday. Diane S

Have I ever mentioned how much I enjoyed the 3-4 years of drought here in CA? The reason being that with multiple big dogs, the rain is not my friend! The dogs, however, being native to Yorkshire thrive in this miserable weather. The love being out in the rain and muck and think nothing of traipsing the muck and mire of the great outdoors. I am ever thankful we have the creek fenced off!

So, yes, it is steadily raining. We do need the rain and it is pretty and cosy, but I did feel the need to grouse just a bit. I will miss my shorts and flip flops. Other than the fact that I get to wear cool sweaters and some coats I like, I'm not much for the whole winter thing.

Food - meh, but restriction is my friend.

Scale is now scheduled to be delivered by day's end on TUESDAY! I have waited this long so, what's another day or two, right? Just going to put this out there for any of you who might be like me and want to prove a point, don't like to waste money, etc... IF YOU ARE SOMEONE WHO NEEDS THE ACCOUNTABILITY OF THE SCALE, JUST GO OUT AND BY ANOTHER DAMN SCALE. Lesson learned.

Have the shrink tomorrow and clearly I need it. Thank God I can laugh at myself. If I couldn't I think I'd be a basket case. LOL!

Don't feel bad, I would have already bought one.  DW makes fun of me for weighing as often as I do.  I weight right before I go to bed so I can guess at what I will weigh in the morning.

Late to the dance today.

Hooking up the water hose on the airstream.  Stood up and banged my head on the taillight.  I'm surprised it doesn't hurt more.   Beautiful day here.
