116.5 - worked from home yesterday but had NO motivation. Need to get my act in gear today!

Guests coming tonight and overnight, so it's a good thing our "personal chef" is here to cook.

Had my 2 week before procedure appointment with plastics surgeon yesterday to get all my questions answered and pay.  So 2 weeks from today I'll spend about 6 hours in surgery getting rid of my baggy stomach and neck.  I'm not more nervous than I was about the WLS (just a little), but worried about different things. The office staff told me that one of their recent facelift patients took bromelain and arnica starting 2 weeks before and had very little bruising.  They said it might be a coincidence, but maybe not so I'm going to try it.

Have a great Wednesday!

Liz, I'm so excited for you and the other plastics success stories. A lower body lift is my priority , but I just can't chance it with my lymphedema issues.

I'm going to add some NIA and Zumba to my repertoire as soon as I adjust to boot camp and swimming 3x a week. I am so grateful to be able to make my health a priority... not something to try to fit in around a busy professional life. All of those decades of no time for my self finally will be redeemed !

I am celebrating my one year anniversary in maintenance and benefitting from this maintenance family. This is the longest I've been at a normal weight since kindergarten!

Feeling grateful and motivated !

Diane

Happy Wed!

121's.    Trying to hug my skinny tight these last few days of collective food free for all.

Liz, I'm excited about your PS!  It is a different kind of surgery when "...and pay" is a big part of the experience!  I don't know if you have seen comments on the boards about needing more calories post surgeries?  I'm not sure I did (and definitely not what I had hoped!)  but it seems to be a pretty common occurrence.

Hope and peace,

Shel

Thanks Shel!  I'm kind of nervous because I know it will be tougher than WLS, but hopefully worth it.  I justified the cost in that it is essentially the same amount as the new driveway/walkway we put in this year.

135 OTD, WTH? Up again! That is one OTD I can live without! Pretty good eating day yesterday until our Costco run last nice and I picked up food/treats for DS # 3's New Years Eve party. Had a small handful of Jelly Belly jelly beans but otherwise I was on point for the day and I did both Boot Camp and Yoga - level 1 for each but I am sore today!

Just keep swimmin'!

Frustrating when you are doing the right stuff and the weight goes the wrong direction. Maybe you are gaining muscle?
