No weight this morning (guests in room with scale). Just as well as there was much eating and drinking with friends last night.

I have my 9 month surgiversary checkup today, so they will weigh me with clothes and after eating (so I won't really count it).

Have a wonderful day!

Good luck with your appt. Liz

133.6 or .8, can't remember which. Pretty good eating day yesterday and 30 minutes on the treadmill at 4 mph and 5% grade. Was at a 10% grade, will get there!

Off work today and will get my left shoulder tattoo. I think it will be my last! Will have to share pics later!

Carpe Diem my friends!

Paula

Good Morning, Peeps!

121's.  I may not have gone over in calories yesterday but I didn't eat well.  I feel crummy this morning but I am not sure that is related.  Typically, I never pay for poor food/drink choices the next day.

Lots to do, hoping to close out 2016 strong.  I think I will take a page from Frisco and have crab on New Year's eve instead of a Chinese Food Fest that my family celebrates (but I struggle) with.

I LOVE crab! We usually have it on Christmas Eve but had lobster and shrimp this year. I might just have to do the same! DS #3 will be having a party but I think they will have pizza! DS #1 thinks he might go to a camp staff party out of town and DS #2 works that night! If reservations wouldn't be an issue at this point, DH and I could go out!

You mentioned in another post that pizza doesn't taste as good any more.  I'm finding that I am disappointed when I decide to splurge on some old favorites.   Pizza is one and Chinese food is another.  I think a lot of it is the salt content -- I am not sure if my tastes changed with VSG or if it is just that I am no longer used foods being so highly salted.   The loss of these favorites makes me a bit sad!

On the other hand, my homemade Chex mix and banana bread and ygourt are still delicious sliders!

Look into reservations! I think there are a fair amount of cancellations because people make multiple reservations and then cancel all but one much closer to the date

I still like Chinese but there is only one pizza I have enjoyed after VSG!

Good morning! I'm down a pound from the day before yesterday. Eating much better yesterday, but after the vet pick up and getting the bill, etc... I ended up having sweet cravings. Can you say Emotional Eater???? LOL! Anyway, I did indulge a little bit. I found some chocolate mint cookies that were in the garage when putting items from the Costco run away. Ron and I both thought we had disposed of them. Well, we both had a couple and then I went back and nabbed a couple more. Booooo... on me! It was quite addict like behavior. Hey, at least I know it, right?

Have a bit a of a cold - again BOOOOOOOO! Scratchy throat and mucous gunk. Don't feel awful, just a bit off, so that's a plus. Trimming a dog for a friend today then the rest of the day is mine. Hoping I feel up to working out. Maybe just the elliptical. That's much less of a strain than weight circuits.

How about a little Throwback Thursday right here? This is me at 19 playing Riff in West Side Story. I'm the one in the middle (but you all probably knew that...). Oh, and my case for long term and ongoing body dysmorphia - I thought I was too fat for that costume.

Greetings New Year Skinnies

Just think of it. None of us have to have a New Year's Resolution to loose 100 lbs. Just to continue healthy eating and living.

Still at 133 today. Had a good food day topped off by fresh crab from the nearby Captain Zack's crab shack. It comes directly from their own boats. But the fisherman and the seafood buyers are disagreeing about a price so if they don't get it worked out the supply may end. I predict they will figure it out. DH and I split a 1.75 lb crab and it was plenty of meat and probably 100 calories. I was stuffed.

The sun is out and I am feeling good. Finally decided on a dog theme for my April art show. Ceramic sculpture takes time and you can't speed up the process so I gotta get busy now. That plus my gallery inventory is low due to Christmas sales.

Well one thing about healthy eating is having to go to the store every two or three days. No stocking up with boxes of mac and cheese . When I was a kid I thought all vegetables either came in cans or frozen into these squares. So glad better stuff is available now.

Well onward warriors.

Oh confession time. I ate a cookie yesterday. It was my favorite - those powdery balls. But I only ate one and I think two would have made me sick. Hope they are all gone from the studio today.  Diane S.
