144 OTD. I'll take it! Calories: 1009, C: 102 F: 44, P: 92 No exercise but lots of errands and some house cleaning, so that should count for something!

Super busy day yesterday but it felt good to get a lot done. I'm in to work early (per usual these days). The only good thing about going in early is I get out around 3 which is nice for getting dinner on the table! We eat early - around 5:00. The early bird specials when I'm retired won't seem so odd!

Beautiful, sunny day yesterday. I was a little sad not to be able to be outside more and enjoy it but the bright skies helped brighten my spirits some!

Happy Hump Day my Friends!

Hi Paula! Is that a stand alone post or just a place saver?

LOL, I see that the post has now blossomed! I really enjoyed your post yesterday --- there was something there I plan on making today. Korean tacos? Something like that. Plus, thrilled to have a pharmacist nudge your doctor. When our system revamped how primary care does antidepressants/antianxiety meds a few years back, our doctors learned how the psychiatrists felt about the starting dose never moving up as a matter of practice. Now everyone is all about "therapeutic dose" unless there is a reason not to move up.

I work out this morning in an hour. I had plans to snowshoe, too. But, two boys (17 and 18) were killed in the last few days in an avalanche. The boys were in an area known for avalanche shoots....but honestly there is no area up there 100% safe. We are all sad and I don't think there would be much joy up there, today.

Cecily, loved your garden and congratulations on the recent rain! Does your dad go back to MI in the summer, too?

Have a great, skinny day, today!

Shel

If you only saw a weight, it was a place saver - I wrote a little more! Lol! Gotta run!

Oh how sad about those boys. That's so young...

My Dad does go to MI too. He's there a lot longer than I am - April 1 to early December. He just avoids the worst of winter there. There are two houses on the property so we have our own homes, but eat dinner together.

Weight 116.2, calories 789. Still the same as 1 year ago per MFP. I'm well in my comfort range, but the graph in MFP does show my weight bouncing on the higher end of my range for the last few months vs where it had been.

Thank you all for your advice about BIL. I wont send my email to his wife other than the part about potential rentals which she was interested in. I realized that you were all right when you said she probably knew and would ask if she wanted more detail. However I am mulling over saying something to him calmly today about him being less than a good guest. I can't wait to wash the bedding and air out that room!!!! All windows get thrown open tonight!

So yesterday I needed to register the car here because the registration in Massachusetts expired today. I had set up the insurance and prepared all the forms, but when we went to leave the garage door wouldn't open! DH had to pu**** up via brute force (the door is double and incredibly heavy). The car did get its Florida plates, but this morning I have garage door repairmen coming to replace the broken spring. Another thing that annoyed me about BIL: He used to be known as the fixit guy in the family. I had to call a handyman in our park to look at the door and figure out what was wrong because BIL was apparently too "under the weather" to even walk in the garage and look. His comment was "I wondered what that big bang was" (the garage is next to the room he is staying in). Funny thing about the door though: My next door neighbor (garages are attached) said his spring broke last week (they were the originals from when the homes were built).

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

I think your BIL plan sounds like a great one!

I'll be anxious to hear how BIL responded to your talk. Hope the garage door gets fixed soon!

Weight 163.4, calories 1827. I've decided that 165 is the top of my comfort range. Good to know what I'm aiming for.

The hike yesterday was great, but freezing. It was only up to 46 when we finished at 11:15 after starting at 9. That's very un-California-like. I spent the rest of the day in a parka trying to warm up!

Today is Pilates and painting. I had misread the plastic surgery special and it has to be "claimed" by today, but I'm not sure what claiming entails so I'll check with them when they open.

Hope you all have a great Wednesday!

Paula, How nice to know thre's qnother early bird special eater out there! I get teased all the time for preferring to eat dinner at 5. If I don't eat early, I end up needing a snack at 5 which means I basically end up with another meal's worth of calories. But if I eat at 5, I don't need anything else the rest of the night.

Cecily! You aren't a night time eater???!!!!!

I like to eat early for the same reason you do. I don't "need" anything for the rest of the night --- yet, there are issues.
