We are all in the same place I am starting to realize.  Its very hard but they are right starting is the beginning.  I am starting today also.  Its very hard.  But as you stated we had such an invasive surgery and have been through so much mentally, physically and emotionally I feel we can do this for us.

 I need to start posting and keeping track of whats going in my mouth.  But really the first thing I have to do is stop buying the bad stuff at the grocery store, because then it wouldnt be in the house to eat in the middle of the night.

I am just wondering if I am the only that this isnt there first time getting back on track.  I seem to do well then something happens in my life and I fall off but it seems the longer I go the longer I stay off the wagon so to speak.

Any ideas of how to stay on track and not just keep falling off?

Eats are pretty good today but haven't been in the mood to exercise.  Just have to many things going wrong in my life, but anyway

B-spaghetti (home made sauce with lots of tom & mushrooms)
L-pork, green beans and 1/4 of a baked potato with cheese
s-protein bar
d-grilled chicken with either salad or vegetables

Well its almost May and I am almost 4 years out and not happy with my gain so again I am back on track and doing this for me!

B-Peanut butter & Jelly protein bar

L-tuna salad with cucumbers and tomatoes

S-chili (meat and beans really)

D-homemade goulash (yes it has a little pasta but will try and pick most out)

I have brought a low carb yougurt in case I need another snack.  Plan on walking at lunch and maybe a quick tan to make me smile while getting some vitamin D.

First of all Welcome! I did not have the band but RNY we don't drink 30 minutes prior or after a meal this I was told it helps the food stay in your stomach longer so you feel fuller.  I have gained about 15lbs and I knew I wouldn't stick with the 5 day pouch test but I went on Atkins and so far so good.  I also bought a treadmill and have started using.

Glad your back! Happy New Year To You.  It sounds like the best thing of your vacation was 24 hours aday with the BF.  Sorry the boat wasn't good.  We will never cruise its just not our thing.  I haven't gained but haven't lost either.  Looking at buying a treadmill and canceling the gym so I never go.  Anyway, hubby and a good friend started Atkins with me today.  So far so good!

Well didn't make it to the gym yesterday but maybe tonight after work still have my clothes in the car.  Eats have been good and I am down a couple of pounds in 3 days just from decarbing.

B-ham and cheese omelet
s-yogurt
L-tuna salad with greens
s-cheese and hard salami & nuts
d-beef vegetable soup low carb homemade

I did not make it to the gym today my sinuses are acting up but did manage to pack  my clothes so hopefully will make it after work.  I will eat anything for breakfast, I can only eat so many eggs LOL

Was posting on the Atkins put no one is posting there.  So here I go.

Woke up late so no gym but plan on using my ball and hula hoop which is weighted several times thru out my work day. 

B-1 boiled egg, hard salami and cheese
L-beef, mushrooms with green beans
S-nuts
D-chicken with spinach & mushrooms

If I have to have another snake more nuts or maybe som pork rinds.

I would very much like to see that.  I am very upset with my self since I have gained about 13lbs.  Most of the weight is from a new medicine but I really cant use that as an excuse.  I have never been a runner but I really wanna think about doing it.

I did eat much better this week.  Didn't eat the foods I gave up which are rice, pasta, potatoes, candy, white bread, cakes, cookies and ice cream. 

Exercised only once I need to get that to at least four days a week and most days go my water in, but a few I didn't .

So next week eat good, exercise and drink water.

This is perfect timing! I am going on a float trip this weekend so I know it will be bad eats.  I was planning on doing something starting Monday.  We leave Dec 2nd for Mexico and I have to lose 15lbs, I cant fit into any of my clothes.  I am so ready, keep me posted and thanks for the message.

I am right with you! I have gained about 15lbs and working on getting them off.  I just returned to the gym this week actually made it 3 times.  Its amazing how much better I feel when I work out but I just don't like to.  I am also trying the low carb its amazing how hard it is when we have been bad, LOL.

Thanks for posting. I did not do well at all but after feeling sorry for myself, eating terrible, making my self sick I am back on track. 

1) Exercise- terrible cant seem to get there 3 days a week, will work on this.

2) Not cheating - terrible but seem to be better and down a few pounds

3) Clean house - am working on this everyday, so moving in the right direction

4) Quit spending $ - much much better, still alot of room to improve

5) drink water everyday - much better but cant honestly say every day, will work harder

6) attitude - fell off the wagon but back on and seem to be in a better place

So as you can see the above are my challenge for Christmas.  Happy Thanksgiving and thanks for reminding me.  I need to look at these daily instead of once a month.
