My journey is beginning... Yeah for me!

After years and years of diet failure and a lap band procedure gone wrong, I have taken action! I am ready to put this obesity demon to rest and fight for my life! I was sleeved on June 27, 2012 and I am so happy! I wish I had done it years ago!

Sometimes you wonder if your life would be different today if you had done it before. My life has gone through A LOT of changes in the last 2 years, and would those changes have occured if I had been healthier then? Hmmm...? We can go through the "what if's" all day and night and drive ourselves crazy, or we can accept and move forward.

Today, as I write in my new blog, I am moving forward. I have decided to accept what is and what has been and take charge of my life and look forward! This is one of my first steps and I am so excited that I simply can't wait to see where my life will lead me.
