Rollin Thift M.D.,F.A.C.S.
Dr. Thrift is very easy to talk to, answers questions completely. He gave a good explanations about the pros and cons of each of the surgery methods as well as the risks and benefits.

He works at the Barix Clinic in Wylie, Tx. He talked about the extensive requirements the surgeons have to complete in order to work for the group.

Barix offers a packaged aftercare program with followup visits at 2 weeks, 3 months, 6 months and then yearly - including bloodwork and nutritional follow up with a dietitian.

I particularly liked the fact that the clinic and doctor specialize in bariatric surgeries. Because it is the only focus of the practice, and they take a conservative approach to surgery and aftercare - their complication rates are less than the national average.
