Looking forward to D day.

 Today is Sept 1, 2009.   I had a Dr. appointment to do my preop for my surgery which was scheduled for for the 17. My original plan was to have a gastric band, but after much testimonies/research I realized that I was better off with going all the way with the gastric bypass.  This change of mind is what caused my delay in surgery since my doctor did not have a slot available. Now I have to wait until Oct 1 to have it.  Ugghhhh more wait... I am so excited I would like to get it over with ASAP. I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason, and of course I have no other option than to be patient and start the countdown over again. Oh well, I'll keep in touch..
