I have a wonderful husband and he supports me in this 100% I am wanting to be in better health so I can enjoy my beautiful grandchildren. Since I was last on , I am no longer seeing Dr. Scarborough. I am now seeing Dr.Michael Storey. I have an appt. to see him on the 20th of Aug. I am nervous and excited all at the same time.

Aug.21,2003--- I seen Dr. Storey yesterday. It went really well. Now it is all up to the ins. Will update when I get a date. Really like Dr. Storey. He is so informative. I like his staff also,they all are very friendly.

Oct.17,2003---- I had my 1 month check up and I have lost 27 lbs. Dr. Storey said that I was doing really well and he is pleased with the weight lose so far. I am feeling better every day.

Nov.20,2003---- I am feeling so good. I thank the Lord for the weight lost thus far. I am down 391/2lbs so far. I have gone down a couple pant sizes yoohoo! This is one of the best things that I have done for myself in a very long time. Thank you Lord for WLS.I am hoping to be below 220 when I go back to see Dr. Storey on Dec.10,2003. Will keep you all updated.

Dec.02,2003---- Well I went shopping today and I can get into a size 18 jeans. Yippeeeeeeeee I have gone from a 24-26 to an 18.Thank you Lord for blessing me thus far and for giving me a great dr. Thank you Dr. Storey. Life is GREAT!!!!

Dec.27,2003---- I have lost down to 211 1/2. I am down 54 1/2 lbs. I am a slow loser but that is fine as long as it is coming off. Sure I would love for it to be faster but I will take what I can get, or should I say what I can lose.

Jan.06,2004---- Well I am 1lb. away from loosing 60 lbs. Yea!!!!!!! I now weigh 207. Little by little it is coming off. Praise to God!! Thank you Jesus!! Jan.19,2004---- I have hit the 60lbs mark. Yippeeeeeee!!! I am down 61.5 lbs. Slowly but surely it is coming off. Feeling better every day.

Jan.29,2004---- Just wanted to thank Sharon for sprucing up my profile. Job well done.

Feb.1,2004---- I have finally broke the 200 lbs. Yipeeeeeee! I am now down 67.5 lbs.

Feb.9,2004---- Wow I got into a size 14 pant suit today. Yipeeeee! I have gone from a 24 to a 14. I now weigh 198. 68 lbs gone foreever!

Feb.12,2004---- Just wanted to say thanks to the OH volunteers. Feb.22,2004---- Well I have droped down a few more lbs. I now weigh 194.5. Dr Storey wants me down in the 180's by the time I go to him next month.I might just make it. Sure hope so. Wish me luck.

3 March2004---- Well here I am again! I am down to 191.5 that is 74.5 lbs gone forever. Can't wait to get to the 180's. I have not weighed that since the 1980's. 11 Mar2004---- YOOHOO I have broke 190's. I am now at 189.5.

3/19/04---- Wow almost 80 lbs gone. Sometimes it is so hard to believe that this is really happening. This has nothing to do with weight loss, but had to get rid of my sweet Mugsey Bug. My husband and I were getting allergic to his hair and the pet dander.

04/13/04---- Well I am down to 181.5 and in size 14 jeans. This is so hard to believe. This is such a wonderful life changing experience. My legs and hips have been bothering me, but I feel that all will be ok. I go see Dr. Storey next Wed. Will update more then.

04/22/04---- I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT I AM IN THE 170'S. I WEIGH 179.5. PRAISE GOD. THANK YOU JESUS FOR ALLOWING ME TO HAVE THIS SURGERY. LIFE IS SO GOOD!!! I WENT TO DR STOREY YESTERDAY AND HE SAID THAT I NEED TO SEE A CHIROPRACTOR FOR MY HIPS AND LEGS.

04/26/04---- Wow I am no longer morbidly or severly obese. I am only obese. This tool rocks and so does my Savior Jesus Christ. All the glory goes to Him.

05/10/04---- Still losing, but at a much slower pace. Once I make the 100 lbs I really don't care if I get to my goal weight of 150 lbs. I feel so good now.I will just take it one day at a time.I am down 90 lbs. Every lb that I lose I give Jesus the honor and glory.

05/24/04---- Well I am 7 lbs from losing 100 lbs. YOOHOO!!! Thank you Jesus. I am at 173,only 23 till goal. Until next time everyone have a very Blessed Day.

12June2004---- Well I am saying goodbye to the 170's. I am at 169.5. Thank you Jesus and Dr. Storey. I feel so good now. My legs aren't hurting quite as much any more. Praise God. I know at times we can think that we aren't going to achieve what we hope for with this tool , but in God's timing it will happen. Hugs to all.

6/23/04---- Wow I am just 1 lb from losing 100 lbs. This is so awesome. Went for my 9 mon. check up and Dr. Storey says that I am doing really great. He says that the weight will slow down now. I feel so great. Thank you Jesus!!!

6/24/04---- I DID IT !! I AM 100 LBS. LIGHTER. THIS IS SO AMAZING. I LOVE THE NEW ME. LIFE IS SO AWESOME.I GIVE ALL THE GLORY TO JESUS.I NOW WEIGH 166.

7/22/04---- Well I am still losing. I am down to 161 now , only 11 lbs till goal weight. I am in 10-12's. Who would of ever believe that? Life just gets better. I seen my oldest son for the 1st time since Christmas and all he could say was " Mom you are so small." He told me that I look great. He gave me a big hug and it felt great!!! Hugs until next time.

9/6/04---- It has been a while since I have updated. I am in a 10 now and only 5lbs from goal weight. The weight loss has slowed down alot. I need to pick up my exercising. All in all I am very proud of myself. Thank you Jesus for bringing me this far. Until next time.

9/27/2004---- Well here I am again. I am doing great. Still not to goal weight yet. I have like 3 lbs to go. Can't complain though,153 is alot better than 266. Isn't God wonderful!!!!!!! Until next time. May God bless and keep each of you during your wonderful journey.

10/12/2004---- WELL I HAVE MADE GOAL WEIGHT. I PRAISE GOD FOR THIS WONDERFUL TOOL. LIFE IS SO GOOD. NO LONGER ON ANY MEDS EXCEPT SUPPLEMENTS. WHAT EVER COMES OFF NOW IS JUST A BONUS. MY 10'S ARE GETTING A LITTLE BIG BUT I HAVEN'T TRIED ON ANY OTHER SIZES. YOU ALL TAKE CARE AND THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT.

11/3/2004---- Well I am still loosing. I am down to 147. God is so good. All of you pre-ops hang in there your day will come. Those of you who has recently had WLS you are on your way to goal. This journey has been so wonderful. May God Bless everyone who reads my profile.

Jan,1,2005---- Well I am still loosing. It has slowed way down. I am in a size 8 jeans. Who would of ever thought that I would be in that size. I am feeling wonderful. 2005 is getting off to a great start. I have reset my gol to 133, if I can get to that size I will have lost half of my weight of 266. This is so awesome. The Lord has truly blessed me through this journey. May everyone have a Blessed and Christ filled New Year!!! Until next time. Great big Hugs!!!!!!! 5/5/2005---- Wow it has been awhile since I have updated. Well I am maintaining my weight. I think my body is where it wants to be. God has been so good to me throughout my WLS journey. I give Him all the glory. I hope to be looking into plastics if the Good Lord willing. I have alot of skin under my arms that I would like to have removed. I would like to have the loose skin on my tummy area taken off, and I would like to have my breast lifted. Don't really care about implants. We will see. My weight has been going up and down between 140-145. This is so much better than 266. I am in such better health. Thank you JESUS!!!!!!! 9/21/2005---- Well it has been 2 yrs since my surgery. My weight has been staying around 136-138. I know that I could loose more if I tried harder. I feel great. 1-17-2006---- Well it has been a while since I last updated. I am doing great. My weight is staying around 134-135. Apparently my body feels really comfortable where it is at. I am still considered moderatley overweight. I think that I am about 7 lbs overweight. If the Lords sees fit for me to loose this last 7 lbs it will happen. I am not gonna fret over 7 lbs. Life is too short. I am healthy and that is all that matters. At least I am not 138 lbs overweight. Praise God!!!!! Everyone tells me that I am so small and look great. I am in sizes 4-8 depending on who makes them. Most of my 8's are a little big. I do wear alot of 4-6's. Thank you Jesus for this wonderful tool!!!! Everyone have a very blessed day, and thank you for all of your support. I love you all!!!
