Surgeon Testimonial

Kelvin D. Higa M.D.
Great guy and great doctor! My first impression of him was trust. From the moment he shoke my hand I knew that I could trust him because he looked me straight in the eyes. I didn't feel belittled or even like just another fat person that is wanting to take the easy way out. He is patient and lets you think through what you want to say and treats concerns with respect and knowledge. Very good at explaining things that will happen and through out the entire process. His staff is empowered with lots of knowledge as well and it shows that they all work together as a team.

Half Way
posted on 9/18/09 1:40 pm
I finally reached the 200 mark!! woohoo I'm over the half way point and on the downward slide. Not that this is going to be any easier but it does feel really GREAT! There has been a bit of a set back this last week though, I'm sick at home with a chest cold. :P Drinking plenty of liquids isn't a problem and I'm not very hungry anyway so I'm needing to still concentrate on eating the right things in and around long naps. I'm also slowly working my way thru my sewing basket, making new clothes out of the old larger clothes that I once wore. I'm not wanting to go out and buy all new clothes just yet since more than likely I'll only wear them for a couple of weeks before they too are too big. It is funny though how underwear becomes a huge nusaunce when they get too big as well. lol Those I have had to go and buy new ones and that has actually been fun to look at the pretty colored and lacey ones instead of only the huge industrial strength ones. I'm so enjoying this journey, every step brings on new horizons and new discoveries! Hope you are all enjoying yours as well.
