    Tuesday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else. I am waiting for you on the losers' bench!

My name is Dee Dee I am from Prattville, Alabama.  Somehow I allowed myself to get up to 291 lbs....I was so bottom heavy.  I am a mom of 2 beautiful girls.  My youngest said kids made fun of her fat moma....I had been to several drs prior to Dr. Clements.  However, there was always a reason I could not have surgery.  It was not covered or I had to followed for a year.  So finally again I got insurance that would pay, and I began the process of going to the dr once a month.   I would see my PCP for a  month and weigh in for the next 2.  A year and half later I was ready and approved.  My letter was sent off the Friday before the 4th of July and I was approved the Monday after.  My surgery was scheduled for August 14th, 2007 at UAB in Birmingham, Alabama. 

I had minor complications..1. my spleen was nicked. 2. my hand infiltrated.  (this scared me to death).....I've had 2 kidney stones since my surgery, and now I have a ovarian cyst.  Now I cant blame the cyst on the WLS.  

I see myself shrink daily.  And OH what a blessing it is. 

My goals are to be healthy and sexy.  I have not had a decent relationship in 3 years. and I am due.  I pray God will bring  a Good man in my life. DAILY
I wait impatiently for him.  But I know he will come.

8/14/2012  Five yours out today and i average 137 lbs....135 is my goal weight.
11-6-2011 Four years out still between 135 and 140......
8/14/2010  Three years out and fabulous  still around 128-133 fluctates...life is great
07/03/10     Almost three years out and still hanging in at 130.
9/24/09       Still bouncing around 130  a little  up a little down...

10/14/2008   140 must be done losing. I'm happy at this weight. I feel great.

8/22/2008     145  146 lbs gone  1 year 1 week out. And at my 1st personal goal.
7/14/2008     155  136 lbs gone  11 months. 10 more to
6/14/2008     161  130 lbs gone in 10 months. 15 from goal.
