ok... I'm probably going to rot in hell for not keeping up with this, but I"ve been awfully busy and working alot. Things here have slowed down quite a bit. I"m over 1 1/2 yrs out and had lost 140, only to gain about 20 of it back. While I"m NOT HAPPY about it, I"m trying so hard to do right. I'm not sure what is wrong with me... i've been exercising, eating right,etc. But when I eat, I feel like Im starved an hour later and its not head hunger. its actual hunger. I've thought that maybe my stoma could possibly be stretched, and called Dr. O's.. Ann told me to watch my portions... I AM... i dont eat much at all in fact, my husband even thinks i dont eat enough. i've tried to up my calories, protein and water intake with still no results. I feel like i have failed this whole surgery. I'm supposed to go back in April to see Dr. Oliphant... I'm hoping maybe he'll check things out. I was going to talk to my primary physician about seeing if she could do an endoscope on me to see if its stretched, but not sure if they could do that procedure or know what to look for. If anyone could help me out.... I'd soooo appreciate it.
Other than that, life is good. We moved back in May, we are buying our own home in Goreville,IL. My hometown since i was 10 yrs old. My kids love it here. And that is what matters. I feel 100xs better than what i did, and I would not do anything different with the surgery, I just am at a loss of what to do and dont know where to turn.
