    I met Kelly at my first OH party. I was shy and nervous and only knew two other people there. I was standing in the kitchen feeling very alone when suddenly this exuberant individual was introducing herself and making me feel so at ease. She told me all about her life; everything she had overcome. We talked about our children and how sometimes kids can be trying, but there was no doubt about how much we both loved our kids more than anything in the world. Kelly was bigger than life. We saw each other at other events and she always had a big hello for me and more encouragement. I will miss Kelly's beautiful smile and larger than life personality. My heart aches for her entire family and for the entire community who has lost one of our shiniest starts.

    I am very saddened to hear about Kelly's passing. She was such a sweetheart and great support back in the early days. I will be keeping her family in my prayers.

My Story



I love my sense of humor, my mostly optimistic out look, and that I am the queen of starting over, even though I’m only 42. I also treasure my blind faith, it has assured that fear isn’t a road block for me. Well I have my surgery in two days ( and a wake up) Can't wait! Not one bit of fear, ? just lots of faith that your all gonna nurse me through this.. I'm so glad I found ya'll.



Well I'm out of surgery I've had no problemss what so ever "knock on wood" so far...... wow I can't beleive that's it.. I've had dental work that hurt much more, I never needed any pain meds, I had a slight head ache but that's it... the Staff, Including the antisiaologist : Mr. Polk and Dr. Wes Powell were great, the nurses at Huntington were just wonderful. except for the carrot cake left in the hall way everything was perfect...LOL thanks everyone.
