Surgeon Testimonial

Gilberto Ungson, M.D.
Before surgery, Dr. Ungson was excellent with his correspondence - answering any and all questions I had.

When I went for surgery, I found him to be a kind and caring person who proved to be a very capable surgeon. He goes to great lengths to make sure that his patients are very well taken care of and I always felt that I was in good hands.

Checking In....
on June 26, 2008 12:59 pm

It's been way too long since I updated!  I am still at goal - happily wearing my size 6 jeans as I type.

I am so thrilled with my DS, I can never repay Dr. Ungson for the miracle he brought to my life.  I watch my protein intake, take my supplements and basically eat what I want after that.  My labs have been stellar and my Dr. is jealous of my BP and Cholesterol numbers.

I am 2-1/2 years out and haven't really gained or lost in about a year.  I still read this board almost daily and am thrilled my DS buds are still around from when I originally joined and had my surgery.  I don't participate much but I love keeping up with everyone.

Life is wonderful!!

Goal!!
on January 27, 2007 12:36 pm
I have decided to call it goal - I have been pretty solidly in size 6 jeans - this week I actually had to buy a 4 and I don't want to be any thinner than that.

I feel wonderful - my one year labs came back good and I really could not ask for more from my surgery.

I love my DS - life is good!!!

Same Old Stuff....
on January 10, 2007 7:22 pm
Things are pretty much the same - I am very happy!!  I'm still at a loss of 125 lbs. and am hoping to inch my way down that last 15 lbs.  I know I will lose some when I have my lower body lift, but I want to get rid of some of the boobs - they are in my way with some clothing and it's irritating.  I got a beautiful suit and it's a 10P but is tight across the bust..grrrr!!!

Time to ease back on the carbs and get some exercise!!

I am still using protein shakes (Slim Fast Low Carb) to make sure I get all of my protein along with good solid protein.  I like seafood, some chicken, steak, etc.  can tolerate some hamburgers but not if they are dry.  I can eat pretty much what I want now without gaining, but if I eat too many sweets I don't lose.

Size 6 Jeans!!

I can't believe during the holidays I managed to lose weight and drop a size.  I LOVE MY DS!!!!

I am now firmly in size 6 jeans and pants!  Medium sweaters and tops fit fine, still hoping to drop some of the bust!! :)

Late getting Updated
on December 12, 2006 6:03 pm
Like everyone else, my life has been busy post surgery!!  I am now at 140 lbs. - a total loss of 125 lbs. and wow have things changed.

I couldn't be happier right now.  I'm still losing after a stall, so I know things are working properly.  I really don't want to get much lower as I know I will lose some when I get my tummy tuck and I don't want to drop below 120/125.

Right now, I'm in an 8petite jeans and the legs are getting baggy in those.  If it weren't for the panni, I would be in a 6 I'm pretty sure.  The only problem is I'm still a 38D which means in a dress I have to get a 10 or 12.  Then it fits thru the bust but is loose everywhere else.  Geez, how does Pamela Anderson do it???  HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

I'm hoping in this next drop of weight I will lose some of the bust so I can at least get into a 36 as Victorias Secret only goes up to 36 in their stores and I would love to get some pretty bras.

Well, if that is my only problem, I am one lucky person!!!
