Dr. Anthone is my hero. He is such a precise surgeon and really cares about his patients. I researched possible surgeries and surgeons for two years before I took the plunge. I'm glad I did my homework because he has been a blessing in my life. He is a very talented man who has nothing but your best interest in mind. I will never regret having my surgery with him. My fiance, although he knows about my surgery, barely notices my scar because Dr. Anthone is such a careful surgeon. I recommend him with no reservations! (Anthony Bourdain reference, lol!)

It has been forever since I posted an update so here goes! Corey and I broke up and I made the difficult and painful decision to leave him and move with my sister to Arizona. I have been here for over two years now and it was the best decision of my life. Although I will always love Corey for the support he gave me throughout the beginning of my journey, we realized we were not right for each other and we parted ways. I cried and cried on the long drive down here, but it ultimately turned out for the best. I dated for almost a year with very unsuccessful results and then I met Zak. I was at a bar one night with my friends and this guy Tim started hitting on me. It was pretty evident that he was still hung up on his ex-wife so I really wasn't into him. Zak is one of Tim's best friends and noticed him talking to me. He decided to mess with his buddy and hit on me too. Well, the rest is history folks! Zak and I have been together for a year and are getting married next April. His friend Tim is now living with my friend Jacque and they are expecting a baby next year. Funny, eh?

I really never thought that I could ever be happy. The DS gave me a second chance at life and it is all coming together for me now. I have a great new job in AZ and an awesome new fiance! He is so wonderful and I could not ask for more. I hope you all have happy ending stories like mine as well!
