Surgeon Testimonial

Jamal Farhan, M.D.
Dr. Farhan was awesome. He explained in detail everything that COULD happen with the surgery. He made sure I understood ALL the risks and benefits before making the decision to go thru with the surgery. The staff was great. Especially Devora, Julie, and Ida. Ida has since moved on to other things, but both Julie and Devora are still there. I will be honest, I was a little frustrated with him at my 3 month check-up because he said I needed to lose more weight at a faster rate. Well, by my 6 month check-up, I had lost a total of 107 pounds and he said I was doing well. I'm sorry if anyone reading this feels it is suspect, but I truly had a great surgeon and I would highly recommend Dr. Farhan.

Books & Literature - I love to read. Also, I have written a few poems of my own. Mostly religious.
Crafts - I love cross-stitch, mostly counted cross-stitch.
Cats - One cat named Tiger.
Needlework, Knitting & Crocheting - love to crochet and knit.
Quilting - I just started making a Disney themed quilt for my son.
Movies - My fave type of movies are romance, but I like a variety.
Music - I like a variety of music, but not explicit lyrics
Singing - I was in choir in high school and I LOVE to sing. (Alto)

Hello Stephanie, I am sooo happy for you! you have come a long way in a year, well, we both know it took a bit longer...lol. My name is christine whitman, my friends call me tina. I am struggling with medicaid to help me with the wls. I am over 400 lbs, have multiple health issues, but it seems none are " currently life threatening"...man.. .i was denied, had a phone appeal..and now may have to wait 90 days to hear the outcome of my appeal...i have been unable to work for 2 years due to back and leg pain and swelling...and get this, I AM A NURSE...lol...i really miss working..my doc says this is my best shot at being able to return to work. it may take a couple of years, and back surgery also...but i am too darn young to feel this OLD!!!...i am 46 going on 80...lol..ok...enoug h about me....i look forward to hearing more about your progress....tina
