I am still waiting on insurance approval.  They requested more information.  We sent it all in but the process is so slow.

I spoke with the insurance today and they have received all the information but haven't done anything with it yet.  I have never been very patient when I want something so I'm sure me and the customer service department will become good friends until I get an answer.

I attended the last required meeting today.  The NP reviewed the entire program.  It took three hours but I guess whatever is required is what I have committed to myself to do.  The information was good though.

I just need approval and a date now. 

I have completed my psych eval, and required appointments with the NP and RD.  I met with the surgeon on 9/16/08.  Everything is good to go so far.  All paperwork will be submitted to insurance next week and then the wait will start.  I have BC/BS and from what they are telling me the approval should come through fairly quickly.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!
