getting closer

had my consult with Dr. Krahn today, wow he was as nice as he seemed to be at the seminar i attended back in july. He ordered a UGI and gallbladder Ultrasound (expected) and of course the dreaded psych eval lol
So we put in the referrals today and now i just wait for approval, should be by end of the week. According to Dr. Krahn and his staff surgery will take place about 4 weeks after all the necessary tests are completed!
I'm getting closer, yay! Its honestly hard to believe that I started this process in July, its gone by pretty quickly and i hope the next leg of the journey is just as speedy!!
oh yea...i decided (with the help of my surgeon) that i will be having the RNY, i was on the fence for quite a while about going with rny or lapband. the surgeon told me that with my pcos he expected me to reach goal with the band w/in 2-3 years...and with rny it would take no more than a yr.
The choice was pretty clear to me. The boyfriend and his fam are worried and would rather i do the lapband BUT it has to be my decision and i know they will support me! my fam is behind my decision 100%.

P.S.
totally off topic but can someone tell me how to change the "hoping to have surgery" title on my profile, its located under my BMI and above my surgeons name....i've searched high and low for a way to change that LOL
