My Story

Been overweight for six years too long due to meds that had steroids in them. Had a surgery that was non weight related and my weight zoomed within a three month time frame! Highest weight was 230,currently 208. I was 140  pounds max in my adult years until 2005. I would lose 5 pounds, to gain 5 back plus 2 . What was it? My slow mo' THYROID+STEROIDS!
My PCP and I decided that having WLS would be best.Diagnosed with hypertension in 2010,hypothyroidism 2007,mild joint pain started  2008. No matter what exercise I did and how long I walked(I love to walk),the weight would stick.
